Abstract

Cet article examine les fondements et les défis du takāful, une forme d'assurance islamique basée sur les principes de solidarité et de coopération, en adoptant une perspective stratégique basée sur les ressources (RBV). Bien que le takāful ait connu une croissance significative, il reste sous-développé par rapport à son plein potentiel. L'industrie du takāful doit relever plusieurs défis, notamment en matière de conformité à la sharī'ah, de gouvernance et de compétitivité. Cet article propose que la gestion stratégique des ressources internes confère aux opérateurs de takāful un avantage concurrentiel durable. Pour réussir, le développement du takāful nécessite un modèle mutualiste basé sur le consensus, une gestion améliorée des risques, une internationalisation accrue, et l'adoption de normes prudentielles robustes.
